perfect sugar cookie recipe

this weekend i finally put our cookie cutters to use and

made some christmas sugar cookies to frost with our cute friends! they were seriously so good that i had to 

post the recipe here...make them and enjoy! 

best sugar cookies

1/2 cup softened butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

2 tsps vanilla

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tsp soda

1/2 tsp salt

3.5 cups flour

cream all ingredients except flour, then slowly add in flour

..bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes..

frosting:

1/4 cup butter

4 oz. cream cheese 

2 and 1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

mix 3-4 minutes
